I Kissed a Girl, a combination of titillation coupled with a sophisticated melody, helped I Kissed a Girl to achieve the number one spot across the world and boost sales for her album, One of the Boys. Hot N Cold is a popular second track. Perry also wrote a large portion of the lyrics on the album.
